At the main entrance to Great American Ball Park, four bronzes of Reds legends of the Crosley Field Era are shown playing in an imaginary ball game. Three of the four are shown here.

The foreground sculpture represents a 15 year-old Joe Nuxhall, throwing a fastball as the Major League’s youngest player of the modern era. The pose was inspired by a baseball card showing Nuxhall in the follow through motion of a pitch.
